The Milltown Organic Market

The Organic Market is one of the most comprehensive organic markets in Ireland and takes place in the Old Church, Killarney Road every Saturday from 10am to 2pm. It is a vibrant hub of activity for the ever growing organic movement in Kerry, and a meeting place for the local community.
The regular organic centre produce is augmented by local producers stalls on Saturdays, including local organic meat and poultry, locally smoked fish, vegetables, bread, wine, vegetarian delicatessen, authentic Italian pizzas, cheese and yoghurt, homebaked bread and cakes, preserves and pickles, smoked olives and garlic. In addition, there is a full range of products for organic gardeners and farmers, from compost and worm systems to seeds and fertilisers. The Organic Centre is open at the same location from Tuesday to Thursday each week from 2 -5pm and sells a smaller range of organic produce. The Market is open all year round except January. It was awarded entry in the Bridgestone Guide for 2003 and 2004.
